About the Artist

Chicago based painter, Ariel Riane, has focused on recreating images of statuary using a vivid, and often spontaneous, multi-color palette. It was during her study of Art History that she developed a love for painting and proceeded to combine her knowledge of color theory with the two-dimensional recreation of art historical imagery.
